I am currently a Lecturer at the Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko, where I am a faculty member in the Faculty of Environmental Management, in the department of Meteorology and Climate Change. I’m a passionate environmental and atmospheric science researcher with strong interests in biomonitoring, climate dynamics, renewable energy systems, and sustainability studies. I am actively engaged in interdisciplinary research focusing on environmental assessment, climate variability, atmospheric processes, and sustainable development initiatives in Nigeria. With an academic background in physics and experience in meteorology and environmental science, I have contributed to studies involving climate change impacts, renewable energy resources, aerosol monitoring, boundary-layer processes, and public health-related environmental research. My work reflects a commitment to using scientific knowledge and data-driven approaches to address environmental challenges and promote sustainable solutions.
As a Biomonitoring Enthusiasts coach, I am dedicated to mentoring young researchers and students in environmental observation techniques, scientific inquiry, ecological awareness, and sustainability advocacy. I am particularly interested in empowering emerging young/emerging scientists with practical skills in environmental monitoring, climate research, and analytical problem-solving. I am enthusiastic about fostering collaboration among students, researchers, and environmental advocates to support evidence-based environmental management and community resilience. My teaching and mentoring approach emphasizes curiosity, innovation, teamwork, and the application of science for societal benefit. Through my participation in academic and environmental initiatives, I will continue to advocate for sustainable environmental practices, the adoption of renewable energy, and increased awareness of the critical relationship among climate, ecosystems, and human well-being.
